On 8 April 2019, the Ambassador of Italy to Kuwait, H.E. Giuseppe Scognamiglio, attended the official launch of the Kuwaiti Italian Business Council “KIB”, a Non-profit Association under the Patronage of the Italian Embassy in Kuwait, aimed at furthering the long-standing successful economic and social liaisons between the State of Kuwait, especially through commercial, technological, social, cultural, political and scientific activities and exchanges. A particular focus will be on the needs of SMEs and younger generations.
Moreover, the KIB will be able to count on the active participation of the Italian community in Kuwait, that in recent years has significantly increased.
The first initiative of the KIB will be a seminar entitled “Kuwait and Italy: Economic Outlook and Prospects”, which we will be hosted at the Embassy on April 30th, 2019.
