The Ambassador of Italy to Kuwait, H.E. Carlo Baldocci, expressed heartfelt condolences to the family, to the government and to the people of Kuwait, for the passing away of the late Amir of Kuwait, H.H. Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
H.H. the Amir was a great leader as well as a man renowned for his wisdom and vision, whose efforts played a great role in the advancement, growth, and stability of Kuwait.
The Italian Government as well as the Italian community here in Kuwait extend sincere, the deepest condolences to Kuwait’s loss. We will never forget that His Highness was also a true friend of Italy.

بدوره، أعرب السفير الإيطالي لدى البلاد، كارلو بالدوتشي، عن خالص التعازي لأسرة وحكومة وشعب الكويت، بوفاة سمو الأمير الشيخ صباح الأحمد.
وقال: لقد كان سمو الأمير قائدا عظيما ورجلا ذائع الصيت بحكمته ورؤيته، وكان لجهوده دور كبير في تقدم الكويت ونموها واستقرارها.
وأضاف: تتقدم الحكومة الإيطالية وكذلك الجالية الإيطالية في الكويت بأحر التعازي والمواساة في وفاة فقيد الكويت والانسانية، ولن ننسى أبدا أن سموه كان أيضا صديقا حقيقيا لإيطاليا.
