On 5 September 2017, H.E. the Ambassador of Italy in the State of Kuwait, Mr. Giuseppe Scognamiglio, took part in the Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF–OIR) Transfer of Authority ceremony between XVIII Airborne Corps and III Corps, which was held at 10:00 o’clock at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
After the ceremony, Ambassador Scognamiglio met the Italian military contingent deployed at Camp Arifjan, which provides a very important contribution to the Global Coalition against Daesh.
