The new Accreditation Portal in Italy and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) is online for representatives of Italian and foreign media, available at the following link: https://portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it/
Registration to the portal is necessary for the following categories:
a) journalists employed by foreign media (newspapers, periodicals, radio or television stations) intended to serve as officially accredited correspondents in Italy, who intend to obtain an entry visa for “subordinate employment” and a residence permit (ex Article 27 letter q of Legislative Decree No. 286/98)
b) journalists (Italians and foreigners) interested in participating in specific events organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
