Italian paper identity cards (CIC) will no longer be valid as of 3rd August 2026.
Italian nationals holding a paper identity card (CIC) and registered with AIRE in the Consular District of Kuwait are invited to book an appointment for the issuance of the Electronic Identity Card (CIE) by sending an email to consolare.alkuwait@esteri.it.
The Consular Office will reply indicating the first available date in the appointment schedule.
BEFORE requesting an appointment, and in order to provide all the information necessary to process the request, applicants are invited to consult the CIE information page on this Embassy’s website at the following link: ELECTRONIC IDENTITY CARD (CIE).
Please, note that requests LACKING all the required information will not result in an appointment being scheduled until the missing details have been provided.
Interested nationals are kindly invited to book their appointment with adequate notice.
