KUWAIT, Dec 2 (KUNA) — Kuwait’s Foreign Minister and Acting Information Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah on Wednesday led the Kuwaiti delegation to a high- level virtual session on the Gulf stability and security that was held as a part of the sixth edition of the Rome Mediterranean Dialogues Conference, which started on November 25 and concluded today. The session focused on a number of key and vital topics in the Gulf and the region, the Foreign Ministry said in a press statement. Of the outstanding topics discussed today were the Gulf’s stability and security, as well as the Iranian nuclear deal, and supporting Iraq’s stability and maintaining its security, it added. It noted that the session stressed “the importance of supporting peace consultations in Yemen and ending the humanitarian crisis of Yemenis, as well as means of enhancing joint cooperation on combating terrorism and the cybersecurity”. The conferees also dealt with the joint efforts to confront the repercussions of the coronavirus pandemic, and enhancing food and health security in this regard, it pointed out. The Kuwaiti delegation includes Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Minister’s Office Adviser Ahmad Al-Shuraim, Deputy Assistant Foreign Minister for Europe Affairs Mohammad Hayati and a number of senior officials at the ministry.<\/p>\n
