On 4 April 2018, the Charge’ d’Affaires a.i. of the Italian Embassy in Kuwait, Mr. Andrea Quartieri, attended a national operetta, held under the patronage and presence of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, at the theatre of Bayan Palace, along with His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanem and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah. Among the distinguished audience figured also the accredited diplomatic corps at Ambassador level and other state officials.
The operetta was opened by the national anthem, after which young students from various schools performed various dances and assorted portraits depicting patriotic themes.
