On behalf of the Government of the Italian Republic, I want to express sincere congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the new Crown Prince, wishing him every success in his duties and to achieve further progress and prosperity for the State of Kuwait. I want to add to those congratulations my personal success wishes, and the sincere congratulations of the Embassy of Italy and of the Italian community in Kuwait

من جهته، قال السفير الايطالي كارلو بالدوتشي: نيــابـــة عـــن حكومة الجمهورية الإيطالية، أود أن أتقدم بخالص التهاني لسمو الشيخ مشعل الأحمد بمناسبة تزكيته ولياً للعهد، متمنيا لسموه كل التوفيق في مهامه وتحقيق المزيد من التقدم والازدهار للكويت الصديقة.
