On the 7th of February 2018, the Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Andrea Quartieri, attended at the 9th edition of “Kuwaiti Humanitarian Action and Human Rights” seminar organized by Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with UNHCR at Shearton Hotel.
The Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister, Khalid Al-Jarallah, gave the opening speech focusing on the humanitarian role of Kuwait, at governmental bodies and NGOs level, in several areas of the world affected by natural disasters and conflicts.
Later on, representatives of the following organizations delivered their speech (Kuwait Fund for Arabic Economic Development, Kuwait Red Crescent Society, International Committee of Red Cross, UNHCR, UNRWA and local non-profit entities).
