The “Appuntamenti Italiani” column is posted weekly by the Italian Consulate General in Shanghai through its WeChat account, a social platform with more than 1.08 billion users a month.
The column is a space dedicated to the principal events organised in eastern China on the theme of Italy, news of which are fed into the column by the Italian Consulate and the Italian Community. Every Monday, the Consulate launches a call for the collection of news and users can send them in until Thursday so they can be posted on WeChat on Friday.
