Due to the current particular situation of the global pandemic crisis, a specific reflection on the celebrations of the upcoming National Day on the 2nd of June has been considered so as to be able to standardize every initiative envisaged by all Italian Diplomatic-Consular networks worldwide.
Following consultations of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the concerned offices at the Presidency of the Republic, it was decided that in consideration of the security and social distancing needs which have been adopted in almost all Countries , in different ways and disciplines, and as a form of respect for the victims of the pandemic in Italy and in their respective accreditation countries, this year all Italian Embassies and Consulates in the world will refrain from organizing in any form public events connected with the June 2 Celebration, both on the same day and in previous or subsequent ones.
