(ANSA) – ROME, 04 FEB – The Italian Embassy in Kuwait previewed “Italy-Kuwait Space”, a 600-square-metre area for initiatives and activities to strengthen the cultural dimension of Italo-Kuwaiti relations.
In attendance at the event was Kuwaiti Secretary General of the National Council for Culture, Arts & Letters Kamel Al Abdul Jaleel, who highlighted the importance of the initiative aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries that will soon sign two important agreements in the field of culture.
One of these, with Rome’s La Sapienza University, aims to strengthen bilateral relations in archaeology.
During the press presentation, Italian Ambassador Carlo Baldocci said “Italy-Kuwait Space” represents something new in terms of the Kuwaiti cultural scene, as it is a bilateral container that will host – in full compliance with the Kuwaiti government’s anti-Covid measures – exhibitions, workshops, seminars and other initiatives aimed at helping to further grow relations between the two countries.
For the occasion, two photographic exhibitions were inaugurated: “La Grande Bellezza” by Remo Casilli and “Kuwait Heritage” by Usman Mohammed Iqbal. (ANSAmed). (ANSA).
