On 11.11.2024, this Embassy concluded an agreement with Dar Al Shifa* hospital, a private hospital recognized for the care and attention given to its patients and for the high specialization of its doctors and staff members, which will allow the Italian community residing in Kuwait who do not have health insurance to benefit from discounted rates for a wide variety of services and specialist visits.
To take advantage of the agreement, it will be sufficient to present the Italian passport and the Kuwaiti Civil ID and it will also be possible for Italian citizens to obtain the support of the Embassy’s trusted doctor, to better identify the specialist to contact within the hospital.
The agreement concluded with Dar Al Shifa hospital represents an important sign of attention towards the Italian community residing here, which has grown significantly in recent years, and opens up interesting prospects for the development of Italian-Kuwaiti collaborations in the medical sector.
